Bio
Demian Escobedo Guzmán joined Goodrich Riquelme y Asociados in 2023, where he focuses on advising domestic and international clients on intellectual property matters.
His practice focuses on the registration, protection, and maintenance of trademarks, including the prosecution of applications and the handling of office actions relating to refusals of registration, as well as the negotiation of coexistence agreements, licenses, and assignments in Mexico and in foreign jurisdictions. He is also involved in the development of legal strategies in connection with nullity, revocation, and cancellation actions, as well as in trademark portfolio management, including filings under the Madrid Protocol.
